Enjoy an engaging and original family experience in Rome with this 2-hour art safari and treasure hunt in the Rome Jewish Quarter. The visual approach to well known city locations will be experienced in a brand new way thanks to the careful observation skills required by the game. The tour offers a new way of exploring the city and learning about its history, historical characters and artworks.

The Art Treasure hunt will start from Rome Free Lounge. Discovery starts right away in the square, where you will see its graceful turtles.

From here we will go through the narrow alleys leading to the Portico of Ottavia where we will let ourselves be delighted by the aromas of the Kosher cuisine and will end in the Tiber Island, where the ancient Roman legend of Asclepius and the snake will reveal the reason as to why the Tiber Island has this very shape.

Watch the clues closely, follow the tracked indications on the map directly on your reference book, and search carefully around you. Challenge other participants, and let yourself be led and immersed in the historical framework and in the interesting stories that every clue is linked to. Become a real art treasure hunter as you play the game with your family and other participants, then take the final quiz.

You will receive a book of the itinerary and a detailed map showing the main safari hunt points of interest, 12 clues with pictures, coordinates and detailed descriptions of the artworks together with interesting stories and information about the area, and a final 12-question quiz to test what you have learned along the path.

An audio-guide accompanies the presentation made by our entertaining activity leader that animates your time.

Bypass the queues and engage the whole family with this 2.5-hour skip-the-line tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum for families and kids. Join a top-rated kid-friendly guide for a visit to the interior of the Colosseum and the center of the ancient city, including the Senate House and Altar of Julius Caesar. Enjoy engaging games and quizzes and the use of multimedia tools to keep everyone interested.

Meet your guide near the Colosseum to begin a fun-filled 2.5 hours learning about ancient Rome.

This special tour of the ruins of ancient Rome will take you and your family through the magnificent highlights of the ancient city of Rome. Skip the lines and gain quick access to see the interior of the Colosseum, known as the most old and grandest amphitheater of the Roman Empire.

You will learn about the full-blooded gladiators (actually slaves) that fought brave battles against one another or they’d fight ferocious animals (which were imported from all around the world to entertain the mesmerized crowd) to save their own lives. These were the best gladiators who came to Rome to put their lives on the line to fight for the ultimate prize – a chance for their freedom.

After closing your gasped expressions from viewing the Colosseum you will wander over to the Roman Forum and stroll along the ancient and cobbled streets to learn about the life of the early Romans. Not only will you see the mystical ruins of the Emperor’s Palace, the Arch of Titus and ancient temples, you will gaze over important political buildings from the time of the great Roman Empire.

The best thing about this tour and out of any other tours in Rome is the fact that it’s a favorite tour to entice kids into the midst of Roman history, something that is very important. The tour is fully outdoors and the itinerary and stories they’ll learn are really exciting and it’s perfectly okay if they touch things. As with any ruins there are boundaries to be respected however being outdoors is better than being inside a busy and packed boundary lined museum as there are fewer restrictions - they can explore and imagine about more interesting places.

This fun walking tour lasts 2.5 hours and you can take this tour any day of the week, with the exception of certain major holidays. The entrance ticket you’ll get is good for two days meaning you can return again later if you wanted after the tour has completed. It is recommended that you make reservations well in advance with this tour as schedules fill quickly and last minute tours will not always be available.
